Heartwood Dementia Care

Heartwood is a specialized care unit that supports residents with Alzheimer's Disease and other dementias. Staff members have been specially trained and interact very closely with the residents on a one-on-one basis or in small groups for activities, meals and meeting any of their changing needs. Residents enjoy comforatble home-like areas and an enclosed garden. The unit is closed with alarmed doors for additional safety and has been designed and decorated to be a very soothing environment. Residents are assisted with memory care and are supported in retraining abilities of independence.
