Activities and Workshops at Bethany and Beyond

Even if your loved one is receiving professional care at Bethany, you may find it difficult to navigate the range of emotions you feel or know what to expect as the months progress. You’re still a very key part of their care and we want to support you through this process too.

If you have any questions about our Community Outreach please contact us today!

Other resources: ADRC and the Waupaca Coalition. Bethany frequently partners with the Aging and Disability Resource Center and is a member of the Coalition.

Support Groups and Memory Café

We offer many free classes and different support groups for the community to attend as a way to give back to the community. We welcome all family members as well as guests and visitors to our campus. Find out more about our Support Groups and Memory Café below.

Maintaining an independent lifestyle or providing care for relatives and friends with disabilities can be a challenge. Our Memory Café is a social gathering place for persons with memory loss, mild cognitive impairment, early Alzheimer’s, or other dementia and their family and friends. Bethany welcomes you to join each month in a relaxed environment to visit, share common interests and enjoy refreshments for you and your loved one. We understand what you’re going through and are here to help you through the challenges and difficulties that you face. Every month we focus and explore a new topic.

Dare-to-Tri

Every year Bethany celebrates Aging Week campus-wide! This year Active Aging Week is September 23-29 and we’ll have a variety of activities all week. However, we’ll be celebrating early this year with our Senior Triathlon on September 7, at Swan Park. This event is free and is for seniors 50+ wanting to complete a triathlon!
